This WIP is from a series of 13 illustrations/paintings I am currently working on.
The theme of this series is centered in the seven deadly sins.
Inspired by my all time favorite book, Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

Eos is an American contemporary artist, illustrator, painter, toy maker and designer. Eos' work was first exhibited publicly in 2008. Since then her work has been exhibited publicly worldwide (USA, Mexico, UK, Spain, Australia) and has drawn a wide fan base. She has recently started participating in shows in the U.S., where her star is quickly rising. Eos' art encompasses a wide range of mediums and is generally associated with the lowbrow pop movement, also known as pop surrealism. Her narrative illustrations are similar in many ways to a classical tale told by the surreal, whimsical dreamscapes inhabited with exotic plants, twisted creatures, and female subjects that are thought provoking and seductive. Her style is heavily influenced by myths and legends, classical literature, Japanese culture, folk-art, video games and manga comics. Her work has been noted controversial for its dark themes incorporated with her unique, cute and fun style. Her work is both innocent and erotic ... dark and beautiful.
